BMF Member Delivers for the Games

British Marine Federation (BMF) member, French boatbuilding company Beneteau has delivered 23 powerboats to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).
The Beneteau vessels will be used in Weymouth & Portland by the referees, journalists, organisers and VIP's throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games out in the field of play. The £3.6m fleet of yachts handed over to LOCOG include the Antares, Swift Trawlers, Gran Turismo and Barracudas.
Francois Renault, Beneteau UK sales manager, has been quoted as saying, that they are confident they will provide the best possible platform from which to enjoy the sailing events.
The London 2012 Olympic Games will be held from July 27 to August 12, followed by the 2012 Paralympic Games from August 29 to September 9.
After the Olympic Games a wide selection of both power and sailing yachts from beneteau will be on display at the PSP Southampton Boat Show. The Shows signature feature, the Marina which will be home to over 350 boats will have seven of Beneteau's large powerboats and a selection of the sailing yachts on display in Mayflower Park.
