BMT Nigel Gee, a subsidiary of BMT Group, is seeing an increase in design work from the commercial, offshore energy, defence and yacht markets and now has new offices in Southampton, UK, to meet increased demand.
With 62 live projects, 2015 is already off to a good start for BMT. Current contracts equate to a total vessel length of nearly 2,600m, with projects spreading across 13 countries and over three continents. The company says its portfolio is more diverse than ever, with seven commercial vessels, 23 offshore energy, 21 specialised naval, and 11 large yacht projects.
“The outlook for the rest of 2015 remains both buoyant and full of further challenges. Throughout the year we will be continuing to deliver engineering to our exacting customer base, as well as developing new collaborations and exploring other markets,” said John Bonafoux, managing director, BMT Nigel Gee.
With this, the company is also looking to increase its work force. Suitable highly skilled individuals interested in joining the team can email a CV and cover letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
