Mon, 27 July 2015
The Brazilian Shipbuilding industry has 87 ordered vessels under construction. The average cost of each vessel is £50 million. Estimates demonstrate that the Brazilian shipbuilding market will still demand an additional 236 offshore supply vessels by 2020, of which, 89 should be constructed in Brazil.
The UKTI team conducted a survey which showed that more than 80% of the components of a Offshore Support Vessel is imported by the Shipyards. If you would you like to know how much of your product Brazil is importing, the UKTI Team can assist you with that.
