CWind wins 20-year contract at Westermost Rough OWF

UK based CWind has won a contract to provide mechanical and electrical services to the offshore and onshore substations at Westermost Rough offshore wind farm.
TC Westermost Rough OFTO Limited has appointed CWind to cover all routine inspection, diagnostics and planned maintenance work.
As well as this the contract also covers a first response service and offshore transport, for a period of 20 years commencing in February 2016.

He added: “It demonstrates the confidence key players in the industry have in entering into long-term partnership arrangements with us.”
The routine inspections which will be undertaken by CWind as part of the contract, include the inspection of the onshore cables for the 205 NW project 8km off the Holderness coast.
Transmission Capital are the asset managers for TC Westermost Rough OFTO Limited, and will work closely with CWind.
