Dycem non-slip solutions for new state of the art vessel ‘CWind Sword’
Mon, 08 December 2014
Dycem, a leading manufacturer of non-slip solutions, recently teamed up with Ventus Workboats and CWind to provide a range of branded and custom fit non-slip mats for their new vessel, the 22m CTruk multi-purpose catamaran ‘CWind Sword’. Dycem’s high-grip custom-sized mats were used to cover all above floor surfaces inside the new vessel. The mats were provided in black and feature a bespoke UV print of the joint ventures logo.
CWind, a leading provider of offshore support for the wind-farm industry, partnered with Ventus Workboats to launch a new state of the art multipurpose transfer vessel, designed and built by CTruk, destined initially for operation in the Baltic. Ventus Workboats approached Dycem looking for an effective non-slip solution for their vessel and wanted to prevent any unwanted breakages and damage to equipment and personal belongings whilst at sea.
Lee Price, Director at Ventus Workboats, said ‘We are very happy with the quality of the Dycem mats and the service we received. The products are far superior to the mesh shelf liner material we’ve seen used elsewhere. The Dycem mats provide superb grip, feature our corporate branding, which looks amazing, and are even cut to fit the dimensions of vital surfaces throughout the vessel’.
Dycem’s Managing Director Mark Dalziel said ‘We were delighted with the opportunity to provide non-slip solutions to this innovative joint venture. We produced bespoke non-slip mats for the vessel which are not only functional but also feature our unique print technology for increased brand exposure for CWind and Ventus Workboats. We wish Ventus Workboats and CWind all the success in the future’.
Dycem’s Non-Slip products are manufactured in the UK, are multi-purpose, long lasting and easy to clean and Dycem’s forty eight year heritage makes it the tried and trusted brand for non-slip solutions.
