Fender Innovations is now the official fender supplier for the new RNLI Shannon Class lifeboats, announced at Mercator Media Ltd's Seawork International 2014.
All the new fenders for the Shannon Class lifeboats will be designed and produced by Netherlands-based Fender Innovations, which brings an innovative approach to the fender market with extreme lightweight fenders with excellent wear and tear characteristics.
“We have won many new contracts with other exhibitors we have met at Seawork, such as C-Truk and ASV Global. Also, as we have told our clients about our successes at Seawork, many are now exhibiting at Seawork as well, such as Armstrong Marine," said Sylvia Ruizendaal, PR manager, Fender Innovations.
The company won an Innovations Showcase award at Seawork in 2012 for its revolutionary fender system. Since then, it has grown from strength-to-strength and is now delivering its fender systems to more than 18 different countries, for use on patrol boats, police boats, superyacht tenders, workboats and research vessels.
