Latest launches for Raymarine

Wed, 15 June 2016

The Raymarine mobile show room hit Seawork International this year showcasing a comprehensive range of its multi-award winning marine electronics, as well as the latest additions to its product portfolio.

Making waves at the exhibition was the new FLIR Ocean Scout TK marine thermal Camera. Enabled by FLIR’s revolutionary low-cost Lepton micro camera core, it’s making thermal imaging technology even more accessible to boaters.

The smallest and most affordable model in the FLIR Ocean Scout series, the FLIR Ocean Scout TK creates high-contrast images using heat, rather than visible light. This makes it possible to see the differences in temperature and heat emitted by boats, buoys, and landmarks in total darkness.

Also on show was the new FLIR AX8 which won the 2016 Innovation award at Miami International Boat Show. It’s a thermal monitoring system giving a completely new view of a vessel's mechanical system.

Other products at the exhibition included the new Raymarine Quantum CHIRP Wireless Radar the smallest, lightest and lowest power radar of its kind on the market.

Also, the Raymarine Ray52, a compact VHF Radio with built-in GPS receiver packed with all the powerful VHF features demanded by today’s boaters.

There was also a comprehensive range of navigation MFDs on display, including the state of the art gS series 19 inch MFDs alongside a range of screen sizes down to a compact and efficient 6-inch screen – all with Raymarine Lighthouse II software.
