Seawork International announces record-breaking exhibitor numbers & Shelley Jory to compere an inspiring Seawork Awards

Seawork International has announced record-breaking exhibition stand sales for its ever popular annual event, held in Southampton. With exhibitor numbers up by over 15%, and dubbed as the venue of choice, Seawork is the destination for maritime organisations and industry influencers alike.
Bigger and better than ever, Seawork International is Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition held in a working port. Now in its 18th year the event will open its doors in 16-18 June to more than 7,500 visitors who attend from over 70 countries to discover 68 vessels and over 3,500 commercial marine products and solutions.
Shelly Jory to compere the Seawork Awards
Shelley Jory, of P1 Powerboating fame, will be compering the Seawork Awards & Networking evening which will be held on day one of Seawork.
For the past decade Shelley has forged her way through the male dominated sport of power boating with major achievements including heading up the first all-female team to enter the Powerboat P1 2009 World Championships.
With her winning personality, Shelley will bring experience, humour and an in-depth knowledge of the powerboat racing world to the evening.

Accolades including the Spirit of Innovation trophy for innovative products brought to market during the past year, the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Maritime Professional of the Year, celebrating individuals’ achievements within the sector.
Seawork Conference to deliver topical discussions
In recent years Seawork International has also hosted a conference providing topical industry-leading discussions on emerging topics and sector trends, with past conference partners including MOD Procurement, UKTI and the MCA.
This year’s conference will be held alongside the Seawork event on board the conference vessel, the Ocean Scene.
The forthcoming conference programme will be released shortly, with topics as diverse as Hybrid systems for small craft’ and ‘flood defence’.
The Seawork Conference is fully CPD Certified and brings industry professionals together to network, discuss topical issues and exchange information and ideas.
