Thu, 16 June 2016

Two members of the SSA have made a professional link up with their companies thanks to a recent SSA newsletter introducing new member Safeguard Engineering limited (SEL).

Wills Ridley Limited who provide Hydraulic Steering to the Marine industry were pleased to announce that SEL were now assisting them with all aspects of safety. This includes ensuring a continuous improvement to safety for its employees and customers and to install and promote a positive safety culture.

SEL provide a personal Safety and environmental management consultancy service to the commercial marine, leisure marine and Defence Industries.

Chris Wood from SEL stated “Our team have extensive ‘hands-on’ practical experience of working within their respective technical areas. This enables us to provide our clients with informed and proportionate Safety and environmental management advice, assistance and audit services that are tailored to the individual project. We don’t believe in over complicating Safety management.  Our approach is expert, thorough and time sensitive.

Ryan Kitchener of Wills Ridley said “Health & Safety has become an essential and compulsory part of business. Especially for a company manufacturing in the UK. SEL simplified the usual laborious process of health and safety we have experienced with other companies in the past and are at hand to assist with any health and safety issues. The added bonus for Wills Ridley is that SEL have vast experience in the marine sector and understand our working procedures. Rather than putting up barriers, SEL work with us to find a safe solution so manufacturing can continue safely and also in a productive way.
