The 6th Gas Fuelled Ships Conference
Thu, 21 May 2015
The 6th Gas Fuelled Ships Conference will return to Hamburg on 10-12 November 2015, where it was successfully launched back in 2010. The venue is the Atlantic, Kempinski Hotel, Hamburg.
Gas Fuelled Ships is the only conference addressing small scale LNG, and provides an unrivalled platform for all LNG stakeholders who want to explore the implications, challenges and benefits of LNG as a maritime fuel. In addition, the 2015 Conference will look at other ‘fuels of the future’, - including methanol and ethanol and hybrid that are either already being used or are currently being trialled to comply with the ongoing ECA regulations.
The programme will cover the draft IGF code, ship design, case studies on new builds and retrofits, and ship owner experiences of LNG. It will also take a look at infrastructure, supply and costs locally and globally, and will give the insight into the latest technology developments on-board and ashore within the sector. The conference will conclude with an update on the outcomes of the round table discussions, which were successfully introduced at the last event in Stavanger, before all the attendees embark on the technical visits tours.
