SEAWORK EXHIBITION –Stands - A111 & A171

Fri, 14 June 2013

Kort have been in existence since 1935 and have a wide range of products on display from associated companies. The Kort range of Tunnel Thrusters will be featured, together with a range of Hercules Hatches made in Dartmouth, UK.

Main features on our stand will be a New Aluminium HHBT40 which is a Heavy Duty Bow Thruster designed for Workboats and Continuous duty. This Heavy Duty Aluminium Bow Thruster has been designed in conjunction with Kort/Hercules, complete with a specially produced tunnel extruded from grade 5083 aluminium alloy, to typically match the hull material of aluminium vessels. Kort Tunnel Thrusters driven hydraulically or electrically will be shown on the stand. This combines all design requirements, to suit any condition, asked of today’s Thruster Market along with Kort designed propellers.

A range of Hercules Hatches will be at the show with new features that have been supplied to many UK Boat Builders, European shipyards and as far as Australia and the Philippines.

Also on show will be a Kort XL Nozzle and Propeller for the “Buccaneer 46”. The 1650mm XL Nozzle and Propeller will be delivered to the shipyard following the Show. The XL System has been supplied to several new and existing vessels looking for increased efficiency and reduced fuel consumption. As fuel prices continue to rise, the Kort XL system is a must for fishing vessels and workboats. Free advice and performance comparisons will be available!

Fernstrum Gridcoolers, Weka Boxcoolers, Heimdal CPP Propellers and Gearboxes, Deno Compressors are all products represented by Kort in the UK and will be on our stand.

Our stand will be manned by, David Dalgleish, Malcolm Breeze, Cathryn Wright, Nick Johnson, Paige Campbell, Rose Parsons and myself from Kort Propulsion along with Svein Tande from Heimdal, Gerard Burger from Weka Boxcoolers and Sean and Lisa Fernstrum from RW Fernstrum.
